The incredibly creative YouTuber has displayed a variety of different sculptures, each doing something uniqueto the Pokemon they embody. Some, like their Turtwig, Chokorit, and Treecko statues display thePokemonYouTuber’s impressive craftsmanship, while others are a little more technical.
Clay Yoshirin has also made a Pichu figure that charges Apple iPhones by pressing them against one of its cheeks, a Chinchou clay lamp with each antenna possessing working light bulbs, and a Loudred sculpture that has actual speakers for ears.
Recently, the talented YouTuber released a video detailing the creation of theirmost recent project; a clay Froslass sculpture. The figure is made to resemble a traditional Japanese doll, lining up with the inspiration behind Frosslass’ design.
In the video, viewers can see that Clay Yoshirin used an empty 330ml beer bottle as thebase for the impressive sculpture. They then molded the clay around the bottle, making the arms, head, and obi sash out of clay as well. For Frosslass’ crystal horns, Clay Yoshirin once again got creative with their building materials and used candy.
Clay Yoshirin used a pair of edible horns made from kohakutou, a Japanese candy made from Agar Agar which roughly translates to “amber candy” in English. The candies were made by YouTuber Whip Sugar as part of a collaborative effort between the two.
