Legion is one of Marvel’s most powerful mutants, possessing a vast and constantly-evolving array of Omega-level abilities tied to his fractured psyche. Onslaught, originally a fusion of Professor X and Magneto’s darkest traits, has also threatened the world multiple times.Although details are still scarce, it’s safe to say that the combination of Legion and Onslaught’s powers may have created the most powerful psychic in Marvel lore.

All mutants once joined their efforts to create a utopia in Krakoa. Even the X-Men’s most dangerous villains agreed to participate. Yet, everything fell apart and mutantkind’s closest attempt at peace entered their long list of failures. Superior Onslaught Is One Of Marvel’s Most Powerful Mutants Introduced So Far

It doesn’t take long for Onslaught to show off his abilities as the Superior Avengers face the present-day Avengers.Onslaught is able to stop any fight dead in its tracks by commanding everyone on the battlefield to stop moving. He constantly reads his teammates' minds and neutralizes his enemies with a mere thought. For instance, Onslaught selectively erases Diablo’s memories so the team can continue to further their plans under Doctor Doom’s radar.

Killmonger reveals to the Avengers that Onslaught can kill every flesh-and-blood Avenger instantly by giving them a brain hemorrhage.

The original Onslaught already posed a near-apocalyptic threat and required the sacrifice of multiple heroes to stop him. Red Onslaught, fused with a telepathic Red Skull, unleashed global-scale chaos duringAXIS. Now, this new Onslaught surpasses every previous iteration with the ability to turn his enemies' minds and bodies off with his thoughts.

However,Superior Onslaught’s immense power only underlines how lethal Doctor Doom and Annihilus are. The Superior Avengers only assemble in the present day to plant the seeds of Doom’s downfall, which causeda monstrous version of Annihilusto rise in the future. If Onslaught can’t solve this problem using his near-omnipotent abilities, it’s clear that it takes more than sheer power to match Doctor Doom’s might.
