AWWE 2K23player accidentally invented a new move while playing a match between AJ Styles and AEW star Jon Moxley.WWE 2K23has a massive rosterof current and past WWE stars, though Jon Moxley is not an official part of the lineup.

Jon Moxley, previously known as Dean Ambrose during his time in WWE, can be created inWWE 2K23thanks to the game’s robust character creation tools. Some fans who go through the trouble of making Jon Moxley inWWE 2K23have uploaded him for other fans to download and play in their own games.

Considering this, seeing Jon Moxley in aWWE 2K23clip is not that out of the ordinary, but what is out of the ordinary is the move thatAJ Stylesperforms to Moxley in the video. In the video, AJ Styles and Jon Moxley are fighting on the outside when AJ goes for a suplex into a neckbreaker. Instead of Moxley landing on his feet as he normally would, he is instead hung up on the apron. Styles then performs the neckbreaker like usual, but it looks especially devastating. This variation of a neckbreaker off the apron may very well be a new move and if it’s not, it’s not something that’s been seen very often in WWE.

Many users responding to the video claim that this is the first time they’ve personally seen the move, with many not realizing that such a thing was even possible inWWE 2K23. Others think that this is more of a glitch as opposed to something that was intentional on the part of the developers, but the way it happens seems natural enough that it’s likely not a glitch. The way that physics work inWWE 2K23allows wrestlers to land on specific parts of the ring in a realistic fashion, but it remains to be seen how easy this move is to replicate.

WWE 2K23reviewshave been largely positive because of the freedom that the game gives to players. There are near-endless possibilities when it comes to the in-ring action, with plenty of supporting game modes to keep fans engaged for the long-term. After the low point that wasWWE 2K20,WWE 2K22andWWE 2K23have set the bar pretty high, and it will be interesting to see what next year’s installment does to keep the momentum going strong.

WWE 2K23is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
