Inside, there’s a red-eyed demon that can be defeated to reward you with a Faint Red Feather and 1 Red Mercury Essence. You’ll also be able to interact with the Boatman, a recurring NPC in the game that is encountered when choosing the “incorrect” options on these similar doors.
Being teleported to the Lotus Room will reset you, similar to resting at a shrine, and if/when you die, you’ll be taken back to this location until you Enter the Dream at another shrine.
