Hunters inWorld of Warcrafthave perpetually been outspoken about their desire for quivers, and Patch 10.1 ofDragonflightmay finally have the answer from Blizzard they’ve been hoping for. Much like visible librams forPaladins inWorld of Warcraft, quivers have been a passionate topic for the Hunter community that Blizzard sought to answer with the introduction of Artifact Weapons inLegion. Unfortunately, as Artifact Weapons were designed to be borrowed power, the quivers that came with the Marksmanship artifact ended up becoming little more than a temporary solution.
Though they could still use the artifact appearances unlocked throughLegion’s content,World of Warcraftplayers sought more freedom and more variety for their quivers than being tied to Thas’dorah (and its different skins). The return oftalent trees toWorld of WarcraftinDragonflightbrought back a strong sense of class identity to the game, but the requests for quivers never ceased, prompting Blizzard to come up with a solution that would please the Hunters of Azeroth.

Embers of Neltharion isDragonflight’s first major update, featuring a new zone, a new raid, and several quality-of-life features such as cross-faction guilds, a new gearing system inspired by Timeless Isle, and the inclusion of several quivers for Hunters to wear. The good news was shared by mundtotdnum on the officialWorld of Warcraftsubreddit, featuring a few of the new models discovered by Wowhead on the latest PTR client.
Though Blizzard has yet to reveal an official release date for Embers of Neltharion, the 10.1 update forWorld of Warcraftis rumored to launch some time in late May, based on the officialDragonflightroadmap for 2023. Given that Public Test Realms are open to allWorld of Warcraftplayers, fans will likely have a chance to test out the cosmetics before the patch launches.
