It recently shared a WoWCast video featuring an interview with Nora Valetta and Joshua “Aggrend” Greenfield,WoW Classic’slead software engineer and senior game producerrespectively, by community manager Bethany Stout about Season of Discovery. While the short video touched on what to expect in the current realms, the developers also revealed several things about what is coming next–including the fact that the new raid found in the next level band would be Gnomeregan.
There is no concrete timeline for when this next part ofWorld of Warcraft ClassicSeason of Discovery will arrive, but looking at the Season of Mastery may give players a clue.WoW ClassicSeason of Mastery lasted for a year, with updates coming periodically every couple of months.
However, Season of Discovery is making a lot more changes than the previous season, so it could last longer. Either way, fans should expect to hear more soon, with the level increase and the Gnomeregan raid likely coming within a few months or so.
