The quirky dating sim,Date Everything!seems to have romanceable NPCs around every corner, but with over 100 Dateables, it can be tricky to find them all. This game takes its title quite literally, allowing players to date everything from their toaster to the feeling of existential dread. However, in order to make an object take on its human form, you have to know where to look. Though some things, like a couch, are pretty easily spotted, items like the air or a dust bunny might be a bit harder to spot.
InScreenRant’s review ofDate Everything!I described the game as one where it is totally normal to be dating your microwave or any other random object in your house, through the use of special glasses called Dateviators. When the Dateviators are being worn, if you look at an object and it glows, then you can shoot heart lasers out of the glassesto make the human personification of the item appear. Yet, even this simple mechanic is made more complicated with some of the sneakier Dateables, like Nightmare or Rongomaiwhenua, the geode.
Date Everything! Has Over 100 Dateable Characters To Find
Some Are More Hidden Than Others
One of the big marketing points ofDate Everything!has been the idea that the use of the word “everything” in the title is not that big of an exaggeration. Taking place entirely in the protagonist’s home, the small space is suddenly full of potential suitors, friends, and enemies.
Featuring over100 objects at the game’s releaseas romanceable NPCs with three possible endings for each means thatthis game has a unique and creative story. In addition to each character having their own story arcs, the main narrative of the game will require players to find all the Dateables.
The term “date” actually stands for “Directly Acknowledge a Thing’s Existence” inDate Everything!
Dateables include everyday items around the house, theoretical concepts, apps on the phone, and even the game itself. It seems as though nothing is off limits. Interestingly, this quirky concept has paid off forDate Everything!with many already considering it acontender for Game of the Year.
Where To Find Every Dateable In Date Everything!
What You’re Looking For And Where They Are
Many of the Dateables are fairly easily spotted. Things like the refrigerator, table, sofa, and treadmill are all big and recognizable. Then there is a gray area where things aren’t very hidden but could come as a surprise, such as the wall, phone apps, running water, and others. These thingscan be overlooked simply due to players not expecting themto be interactive.
Some objects could require the storylines of other Dateables to progress before they even appear, like the geode, ironing board, and everything in the attic. And, finally, there areothers that are so well hidden that a person randomly stumbling across them could be pure luck. These types of Dateables include existential dread, nightmare, and the attic ghost.

Luckily, because the game features so many Dateables, they do not follow the traditional mechanic of making a player choose just one. In fact, if you play your cards right, you can date nearly all 102 characters at the same time without any issue. While that would make for a very overwhelming situation in real life, apparently anything goes inDate Everything!
