Vampire Survivors' evolution mechanic allows players to power up many of the weapons that are featured in the game. To perform these evolutions, fans must take several steps, some of which may not be immediately obvious.

Many evolutions in the base game remained undiscovered so the author had to rely on personal experience and community information for a more complete list. Now that the game has been fully explored by the community, every evolution from the original game is here and some corrections have been issued regarding how to unlock early evolutions. Additionally, with DLC now released, some new evolutions made their way into this game and are now on this list.

Before any evolution can occur at all, players will need to have certain items at a minimum level.

Activating Evolutions
After gathering the components and getting them to the correct level, players will then need some help from the chests to complete the evolutions.Evolving the Pentagram, for example, won’t happen automatically. Open a chest after the timer reaches 10:00 with the ingredients to get a chance to unlock an evolution.
