The entire episode centered around Clark’s fake persona, and that opening scene set it all up. It’s also a great reminder of how good Timothy Olyphant is in comedies: even as a thoroughly unlikable character like Clark, Olyphant is capable of setting up some great jokes and emotional moments for his co-stars. Now that Olyphant is finally inStick, the show should get a lot better.
