What This Means For The Librarians: The Next Chapter
Kane’s Role Is Particularly Exciting
As Devlin alludes to,Kane’s appearance inThe Next Chapteris particularly exciting for franchisefans as he was one of the stars of the originalThe Librariansshow. He played Jacob Stone, a former oil rig worker turned Librarian. Kane has previously revealed that he will appear “every once in a while” in the reboot series, helping the new characters along their journeys. Based on Devlin’s more recent statement, it is clear that the showrunner has a good working relationship with Kane, building even more anticipation for this return.

As revealed by a recenttrailer forThe Librarians: The Next Chapter, the series will debut on TNT on May 25as part of a two-night premiere event. Airing episodes weekly after that, the show will still be in full swing by the time summer rolls around. Devlin did not specify what time during summer he would be working onThe Librarians, but it is possible that production could start on the sophomore effort before season 1 has finished airing.
