The Challengeseason 41 is already heating up, and with the second elimination bringing two rookies into the ring, the loser’s vacancy on the cast is going to change everything. Throughout the first episodes ofThe Challengeseason 41, calledVets & New Threats, the rookies have been getting a lot more attention than they usually would coming into a season.

While the veteran Challengers like Johnny Bananas and C.T. Tamburello have been sharing their best tips to moving through the competition, the rookies have been forging an interesting path. With one side of the cast forming a UK alliance, bringing together the Challengers from UK shows, it’s been on the rest of the cast to take them down as quickly as possible.

The Challenge’s Blue Kim & Derrick Kosinski with their heads down.

Though the first elimination made it clear thatthe rookie cast members ofThe Challengeseason 41 are in the game to play, eliminating one of the veteran UK cast members Rogan O’Connor, the second was a bit tougher. When the daily challenge saw Blue Kim and her new partner Derrick Kosinski at the bottom, she was ready to face Tay Wilcoxson in the elimination.

Blue & Tay’s Epic Elimination Left The UK Alliance Strong

Blue Sadly Lost The Elimination Challenge

While the daily challenge saw several teams struggle with the tough memory-style competition,Blue and Derrick were the lowest ranking team and lost, leaving Blue headed into the elimination. Despite there being several other teams who were discussed to send into elimination alongside her, Blue wanted to see Tay in the ring. Explaining Tay was of similar size, she felt she could win.

The elimination,a physical challenge that put both Blue and Tay to the test, left both of them gassed out ahead of the last round. Tied one to one in matches, the final round would determine the winner, as well as who would be heading home out of the pair. While Blue was hopeful initially, she was so intensely tired that winning became impossible.

The Challenge

Without Blue, The Challengers Are Down A Non-UK Rookie

The Other Side Is Maintaining Their Strength

Blueleaving the game isn’t only tough for her and her partner Derrick, who remains in the game,it’s a tough blow to the dominating alliance in the house. While Bananas wasn’t heavily featured this episode, last week’s premiere ofThe Challengemade it clear that his alliance was the dominating side of the house, while the UK alliance was weaker.

Blue, who wasn’t aligned with Bananas necessarily butdid find herself part of the non-UK side of the cast, was facing off against someone from the other side of the game in elimination. Her loss keeps the UK alliance up a number, and ensures thatThe Challengeseason 41 doesn’t start in a steamroll. Even so, losing Blue may not be best for anyone’s game.
