However, that doesn’t have to prevent the TV show from continuing forward with season 2, something that could now happen because of Jake’s death. If season 2 does come to fruition, then thePrime Video original seriescould tie his demise together with Braddock’s arrest, especially since both seem to involve Gentry Group. This could offer more context to why they killed him and what it means for his boss now that he’s taken the fall for Adam’s murder.

This would allow the series to continue with an original storyline building off its source material, expanding on the threats introduced in season 1 to deliver a unique plot.
