Around a month ago a leaked off-screen video showed was said to be a re-release of Telltale Games’Tales From the Borderlands. TitledTales From the Borderlands Redux, the new release would feature a new epilogue of content, plus a ton of bonus content. A new leak put out on Saturday supports theTales From the Borderlands Reduxrumor, spoils the new content, and says that it hints at a newTales From the Borderlandsgame – though not anytime soon.

The leak comes from Reddit via user twautwdtftbl, who claims to have “some sources about someTelltale Gamesprojects.” They support their claim by providing off-screen photos of what’s said to beTales From the Borderlands Redux’s new steam achievements, which do look authentic but could be faked by a talented graphic artist.

The new leak starts by detailing theTales From the Borderlands Reduxrelease plans. The updated rerelease will apparently be announced “very soon,” which could mean it will show up in one ofGeoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest events. The rerelease will cost $30 total, but will also be available as a $5 DLC for those who already own the game. It’ll come out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

As for new content,Tales From the Borderlands Reduxwill feature a brand new Epilogue chapter, as previously leaked. It will also feature dev commentary, a museum, and newachievementsfor both The Epilogue and the base game.

Without getting into the leak’s spoilers, the story of the new Epilogue chapter focuses on time travel. Rhys and Fiona remain the protagonists of the game, but Felix has a major role to play. The Epilogue will end with Marcus hinting atTales From the Borderlands 2, but “not for a very, very, very long time.”

The leak also has some new information regardingThe Wolf Among Us 2. It’s nothing substantial, but the leaker claims thatThe Wolf Among Us 2will have a “tech demo” shown as part of the Summer Game Fest events. Which event it will be shown at wasn’t revealed.

Again, while the leak does provide some evidence of its veracity, it wouldn’t be the first leak to falsify such evidence. Consider all of this leak’s claims with some level of skepticism, as exciting as it may be. It’ll be a matter of weeks or months before the leak is proven true or false, based on it saying the announcements will be made this summer.

Tales From the Borderlands Reduxis rumored to release in 2020 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
