Target’s ever-popular Buy One Get One 50% Off sale, where gamers can buy one game and get half off of a second returns in a limited capacity. Starting Sunday, August 11,Targetwill begin its latest sale but this time around there are a few hoops to jump through to make the most of the sale. For one, the sale covers a limited selection of PS4 and Xbox One games only. Second, all orders must be placed online using the “Order Pickup” delivery option.

The one hiccup for some game buyers will be the requirement to use the “Order Pickup” delivery option, which requires that buyers pickup their purchases directly from a local store. For potential buyers who don’t live near a Target, that means the sale won’t be very helpful. For those who go through with a sale, sometimes not all purchases will immediately available as Target restocks.
As is typical for these kinds of sales, the lower-priced game of the two being purchased will have its price discounted 50%. For the best savings, try and pick two games of similar price.

Target is well known for itsBuy One Get One 50% off video game sales, with one held as recently as April earlier this year. They’re usually in-store rather than limited to Order Pickup, but perhaps Target is trying to clear out some online stock. August is a month of slow game releases, after all, so holding a big sale to build up some momentum going into September, October, and November is a smart choice.
For those who aren’t ready to buy a bunch of new video games just yet, don’t fret. Target and other retailers will likely continue to have sales throughout the rest of the summer. It’s just a matter of time before the BOGO 50% sale returns. Otherwise, check out Target.com starting Sunday, August 11, to see whatvideo gamesTarget will be offering.
