MoreSupermancharacters have been confirmed to be returning very soon to theDC Universe. James Gunn’s Superman movie is a hit, with the film having a solid box office run so far and positive reviews. That means many of theDCU’s canon charactersintroduced inSupermanwill likely pop up in other DC projects in the near future.
A few of those returns had already been revealed, withPeacemakerseason 2 set to feature the return of the Justice Gang. Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl, and Maxwell Lord will appear in the live-action DC show. So far, there have not been any announcements regarding other members of the team, like Mister Terrific and Metamorpho. However, they might appear.
At San Diego Comic-Con 2025, whereScreenRantis in attendance,James Gunn teased that unannounced Superman characters would appear inPeacemakerseason 2. While he did not confirm who would be making their way to the small screen,Gunn previously teased a “really big” cameo forPeacemakerseason 2. AfterSuperman’s ending, perhaps David Corenswet’s Superman himself could return.

The Peacemaker Crew Is Getting Some Company In Season 2
While Gunn did not reveal which otherSupermancharacters will appear inPeacemakerseason 2, his comments tease that there should be more than one. Given how the Justice Gang will return, asJohn Cena’s Christopher Smith, aka Peacemaker, attempts to join the team, it would make sense if the rest of the superhero squad’s members were to appear.
As such, Edi Gathegi’s Mister Terrific and Anthony Carrigan’s Metamorpho could be part of the Justice Gang sequence shown in thePeacemakerseason 2 trailers. At San Diego Comic-Con, it was confirmed thatNathan Fillion’s Guy Gardner (Green Lantern) and Isabela Merced’s Hawkgirl would already appear inPeacemakerseason 2, episode 1.
More comedic characters, such asSkyler Gisondo’s Jimmy Olsen, who could be getting his ownSupermanspinoffseries, and Sara Sampaio’s Eve Teschmacher, would fit in perfectly with the tone of Gunn’sPeacemaker.
