Now,Superhot VRis getting a major performance enhancement on one specific platform. The officialSuperhotTwitter announced that VR players using theOculus Quest 2can enjoy the game at a smooth 120 FPS, though it’s still an experimental feature.

Players can enable this setting in the game’s settings menu, as it could prove a bit too much for VR users who are more sensitive to the effects of the headset if it was the default. This 120 FPS mode was only made possible thanks to theOculus Quest 2’s 120 hz updatelast month. Players who want to enable this higher refresh rate for the actual headset itself can do so in the Oculus menu settings, but players should be warned that the 120 hz feature is still a work-in-progress. Still, provided the feature works as intended,Superhotcould look and run amazingly with a smooth 120 FPS boost.
It seems this 120 hz update could prove to be yet another success for the Oculus Quest 2.
