Namco arcade games have been available on nearly every platform since the Sega Genesis.ThePac-Manmonopoly seteven came with a playable copy of the dot-munching game. It has been a little harder to access classic Data East arcade games over the last few decades, but it looks like that is set to change now that Ziggurat Interactive and 612Games are bringing 15 Data East games toGOG.
A few of the games coming toPCvia GOG are available on other current-gen platforms. The originalBurgerTimeis available on Switch for instance, but many others such asHeavy Barrelhaven’t seen an official release since a 2010 Wii port. Ziggurat describes in its mission statement that it aims to “remember, remaster, and re-release games from the annals of history,” and it certainly looks like the company is doing just that.
