What made Tug of War one of the most terrifying games in season 1 was that the losing team in the event fell to their deaths from a towering platform. From the looks of it,Squid Gameseason 3 is about to create a similar setup by featuring a Jump Rope game.
As shown inSquid Gameseason 3’s trailer, the Jump Rope game will also feature a version of the Young-hee doll who will spin a rope while the participating players will be forced to jump on time before the rope sweeps them off their feet. The players will also stand on a thin bridge-like structure, which will make it even harder for them to time their jumps and maintain their balance each time the rope reaches their feet.
Similar to the Tug of War game,the Jump Rope game will also force the non-participants to watch their fellow players fall to their deaths. What will make the Jump Rope game even more white-knuckling is that it will seemingly include some of the elements from the Red Light, Green Light game, which is also touted as one of the most brutal games from the series. Every time the rope will slide over the ground, only the players with an undying determination to make it to the next round will eventually survive. With little to no room for strategizing, Jump Rope will undoubtedly be far more brutal than Tug of War.
It will not only be the ultimate test of a player’s physical abilities but also a grueling challenge of mental resilience. Not to mention, the players waiting for their turn will only helplessly watch the playing ones fall off the bridge and die while preparing themselves for their own fate.Squid Gameseason 3 might have several more games that might eventually rank even higher in brutality. However, the Jump Rope game seems to have an interesting element of nostalgia because of how it seemingly combines two familiar games from seasons 1 and 2.
