Atlus' latest RPG offering may feel familiar to Persona and Shin Megami Tensei fans, but it’s still very much its own adventure. The cyberpunk-inspired bright lights and technologically-infused world help it stand out from the pack visually, and the overarching story is an interesting (although sometimes disjointed) ride. But even thoughSoul Hackers 2feels like its own game, it still features some game mechanics that will look incredibly familiar to fans of Atlus' other mainline RPGs.

Demons and Summons are a main theme for the JRPG specialists and feature heavily inSoul Hackers 2’s core gameplay. Players will find themselves engaging with these creatures constantly, and even recruiting them to help in the battle against their foes. Some Demons are much more powerful than others, and offer great skills and stat boosts when equipped. Players that want to easily make it through the gauntlet of enemies that stand in their path will want to get their hands on powerful Demons to aid them in battle.
