Sabotage Studios, the indie developer known for the creation ofThe Messenger, is set to debut its next title calledSea of Stars. While thispixelated retro-inspired RPGis a completely different genre than the team’s previous game, it’s actually set in the same universe but thousands of years in the past.
Sea of Starsis a full-blown turn-based RPG that draws inspiration from games of the past, likeSuper Mario RPG,Chrono Trigger, andBreath of Fire. Players will get to choose between two main playable characters, Valere and Zale, as they use their powerful magic to work their way to defeat an evil alchemist that goes by The Fleshmancer.

MostSea of Starsplayers going through the game without completing most of the side content should be able to see the end and roll credits in about 25-30 hours.However, thanks to side quests, fishing, and other side activities, some players might spend over 50 hours or more withSea of Stars.
