Born out of the creepy Kitchen VR demo,Resident Evil 7surprised a lot of fans by bringing the series back to its horror roots through a new first-person perspective. While the title launched earlier this year to critical and consumer acclaim, it still took the gameseven months to reach its sales target. With the Not a Hero story expansion coming toResident Evil 7next month, Capcom is continuing to shine the light on the twisted Baker family. The latest trailer puts the spotlight on the psychopath Lucas Baker.

The latest trailer gives fans a recap of events surrounding Lucas Baker and the mental and physical games he put Ethan Baker through during the main storyline. Utilizing deadly games that a villain such as Jigsaw would be proud of, Lucas torments Ethan through shocking bits of violence and psychological torment as well. Players opting to wait for the upcoming Gold Edition ofResident Evil 7may want to steer clear of the trailer due to potential spoilers.

While details are a bit scarce on the upcoming story expansion, Capcom has confirmed that Not a Hero will be a little more action-oriented thanResident Evil 7fans may be expecting. Previous trailers have hinted at thegame resembling a first-person shooter, set within the creepy locations that defined the experience of the core game. Fans should also expect to see a bit more of Lucas down in the mines as well as the lumber Molded monsters as well.

While it may have taken some time,Resident Evil 7fans are finally getting new content to sink their teeth into. The second expansion, End of Zoe, focuses on Zoe Baker and will bring her story to a close.
