Yesterday, Sony also announcedseveral changes to the PlayStation Now’s monthly and annual subscription prices. Starting October 1st, the monthly subscription to the service will change from $19.99 to $9.99. On the other hand, the annual subscription is now 40% cheaper from $99.99 to $59.99. To the uninitiated, PlayStation Now is Sony’s game streaming service that allows players to stream and download games from PlayStation’s vast library, which includes titles from the PS3 and PS2.

After serving the company for many years, Shawn Layden announced his forthcoming departure via Twitter.
