Watch Dogs movie coming in partnership with Sony, too
Ubisoft showed a level ofWatch Dogsthat is exclusive to PS3 and PS4 during its gamescom press conference. All told, Sony can boast 60 minutes of additional content on PS3 and PS4. There are four exclusive missions (including the one in this trailer), a new costume, and a hacking boost perk.
Ubisoft is also partnering with Sony to make “a blockbuster movie” based onWatch Dogs, the interesting Ubisoft game coming this year to every system outside of your smart fridge. According toPolygon, the film “is in development at Ubisoft Motion Pictures, with production being handled by Sony Pictures and New Regency.”
I hope it’s a spiritual successor to Tim Allen’sThe Shaggy Dog. Or the John Travolta/Robin Williams classicOld Dogs.
