InCall of Duty: Modern Warfare, the debate between Grau orM4A1has been going for some time. Pro Player Crimsix decided it was time to share his opinion on which weapon is better.
Call of Dutyprofessional players have been speaking out about different aspects of the game lately. While the weapons in the game aren’t the onlycontroversial feature inCall of Duty,they have been generating a lot of online debate about which of these weapons is the strongest and deals the most damage. Crimsix took to Twitter to settle the debate once and for all which assault rifle is the real overpowered one of the two.

The Dallas Empire player tweeted the theGrauwas by far more powerful than the M4A1. The M4A1 has been balanced significantly, but the Grau is still incredibly strong. Crimsix illustrated it well by comparing theCall of Dutycaster Maven to the professional player Octane, who plays for the Seattle Surge. When they both use Graus, Crimsix says that they both can shoot it equally well. In his opinion, this shows that the gun takes skills out of the equation and is too powerful. With this observation, Crimsix calls for a nerf to this weapon.
While Maven is a strongWarzoneplayer, Octane has shown himself to have a precision with in-game guns that few others have. Because of this, Crimsix believes that this proves his controversial point. Octane also agreed with Crimsix’s point, but jokingly replied that Maven would beat him nine out of ten times they went head to head. Despite the points the pro players put out on Twitter, the Grau will likely not be nerfed anytime soon.
Even though fans have pitted the two assault rifles against each other, their stats are actually quite similar to each other. Because of these numbers,Infinity Warddoesn’t have a real reason to nerf the Grau like Crimsix and Octane are calling for. Even with this in mind, fans will likely have a lot of new changes to look forward to with the Season Four update which looks like it will be releasing soon.
