Charlie Risks Her Life To Bring Kate To Justice
After Maddy’s death, which Kate caused by staging a lethal chemical reaction and locking Maddy in the laundry room by changing the door handle, Charlie quickly pieced together that the murderer was Kate. She deduced that Kate purchased the door handle from Abdul’s store because of her first encounter with Kate, who tried to return used fruit in exchange for other fruits. Anne, a fruit lover, had been waiting right out of Kate’s hand until Charlie asked Ricardo to run a background search onKate, revealing that she was wanted by police and had previously been incarcerated in a Minnesota prison.
Kate is furious to find Charlie when she arrives home with legal documents in a desperate attempt to marry Anne and acquire her apartment. Anne leaves the apartment, and Charlie stands intentionally at the balcony of the penthouse, baiting Kate to push her.Charlie bravely takes the push and pummels down several storiesto the ground below, which was protected by a large inflatable cushion with the help of Charlie’s firefighting buddy, Micky. In the end, Anne appears with her lawyer, who has Kate’s crime on camera, and Charlie risks her life to bring another killer to justice.

Anne Couldn’t Move On There Even After Kate Was Exposed
Anne told Kate, before she was exposed, that there was no way she would be able to continue living in the apartment that she had spent most of her life in. The pain of living there without her granddaughter, Maddy, who died in the building, was too much for her to stay. She would not have been able to properly grieve and move on if she stayed in the apartment that she spent so many years in with Maddy.Even after Kate is exposed, Anne still decides to move outand allow the landlord, Otto, to sell to some rich guy named Ted, who plans to completely gut the place and make it his own.
