Pokemon Scarlet & Violetbrought back a number of Pokemon from Gen 7, including Tsareena, Mimikyu, Lurantis, and Mudsdale. Interestingly enough, the small Indian Mongoose was brought to Hawaiʻi to deal with an invasive rat problem, explaining the similarities between the Yungoos lineand Alolan Rattata/Raticate.

How To Get Yungoos in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Yungoos can be found all over Paldea, specifically in caves. This is true of one of the first caves the player encounters, the one where Koraidon/Miraidon saves the player from a group of Houndoom and Houndor. This makes it an easy catch early game, perfect forgetting started on completing the Pokedex. Yungoos can be found in the following locations:

Yungoosevolve during the day, the same as it does inPokemon Sun & Moon. Once Yungoos hits Level 20, or when it’s at Level 19, leveling it one more time will trigger the evolution into Gumshoos.
