For those unfamilar withCassette Beasts, the game takes a twist on thePokemonformula and sees its cast record their creatures on cassette tapes. However, instead of releasing them to fight for the players enjoyment, these tapes can then be used for the player to fuse into the monster forms, remixing them into more powerful beasts. Any two of the game’s 120 monsters can be fused together in this way for over 14,000 possible combos.
Unlikeother games coming to Xbox Games Pass, Plot-wise,Cassette Beastsplays the “unstoppable power of friendship” track on repeat. Fans will meet a diverse cast of characters in their adventure, and building bonds to strengthen relationships. When a player is transformed they can combine their strengths to gain the upper hand in battle by fusing to produce unique, fully-animated new fusion forms.
