With a variety of items, a huge array of monsters, and more, fans have a lot to work with when it comes to creatingPokemonfan art, like one who recently beganknitting their own replicas of every Poke Ball.Now, one fan specializing in clay creations has created an incredible Pichu statue, and as an Electric-type Pokemon, it, of course, is capable of charging cell phones.

Clay artist Clay Yoshirin posted a video on YouTube the other day showing off their latest creation. The artist’s video details the entire process of creating the Pichu phone charger, which replaces the Baby Pokemon’s left cheek with one of Apple’s new MagSafe Chargers, designed forthe highly demanded iPhone 12,which includes the new wireless charging and magnetic technology MagSafe feature.
Any avidPokemonfan knows that Pichu, Pikachu, Raichu, and many other Electric-type Pokemon are capable of storing electricity in the Electric Sacs on their checks. These Pokemon have also been shown in the anime and other merchandise nuzzling against each other or against objects to generate electricity. Clay Yoshirin also specifically modeled their Pichu charger after the Spiky-eared (or Notch-eared) Pichu, which appeared as an event Pokemon inPokemon Heart GoldandSoul Silver. What’s more, is thatPokemoncomposer, director, andproducer Junichi Masudanoticed the fan-made Pichu charger on Twitter, marveling at its high-quality, wishing for Pichu to charge his own phone as well.
