Ryotaru Dojima is often considered a highlight ofPersona 4. With a tragic backstory of his wife beingkilled in a hit-and-run, a difficult relationship between his work life and his home life, and his role as uncle to the protagonist and single father to his daughter Nanako, there’s plenty to make him appeal to any sort of player delving intoPersona 4for the first timeorthe dozenth time.
One of the best things about Dojima is definitely his Social Links, too. With one of the best examples ofcharacter development and storytellingin much of thePersonafranchise, the storyline alone is well worth exploring. Plus, even if the story is less important for a player compared to gameplay, once they max out his Social Links, they’ll get a special item they can use on one of the strongest Persona in the game.

How To Unlock Dojima’s Social Link
Unlike some other Social Links that can be found inPersona 4, Dojima’s Social Linkis unlocked automaticallyafter May 6. The only thing players will really need to put a bit of time and effort into is their Expression rank - this is an absolute necessity for achieving the first few Ranks. Other than that, it might be helpful to put a little time into Courage, too, as this can unlock some answers players otherwise wouldn’t be able to select.
On top of this, something very important to remember is that inPersona 4, players can earn bonusaffinity in Social Linksby ensuring that there is a Persona in their party that matches the Arcana of the character in the Social Link. In this instance, Dojima’s Arcana is the Hierophant, so keeping a Persona of the Hierophant Arcana in the party will give a big bonus to responses that award points. In the lists below,the points we have listed act as though the player has a Persona with the Hierophant Arcana in their party.

How To Rank Up Dojima’s Social Links
Dojima is consistently easy to find, as he usually spends his evenings at the Dojima Residence alongside Nanako and the player. That being said, it’simportant to notethat the last day to max out Dojima’s Social Link is November 3.
