The video game streaming world has been rocked by allegations of abuse and sexual misconduct against popular streamers. Dr DisRespect, one of the top streamers onTwitch, has so far not been one of the accused. However, his account was mysteriously banned by Twitch on June 26, with reports from industry insiders saying that Dr DisRespect’s Twitch ban is permanent and he will not be returning to the platform. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlandshas been a major hit for Ubisoft, with the game having thebiggest launch of 2017 so far. Ubisoft has supported the game’s sizable community with paid DLC as well as free updates, with the next major update adding PvP this fall. The free PvP update forGhost Recon Wildlandswill feature a new game mode called Ghost War, which pits teams of four against each other in team deathmatch-style battles....

FreeStyleGames, the developer ofGuitar Hero Live, has posted its plans for the Guitar Hero TV (GHTV) portion of the game, and it’s intriguing to say the least. Basically, instead of buying songs piecemeal for $2 or so, you’re going to be streaming them by way of GHTV, and buying the temporary rights to play certain tracks with tokens. Now, this concept was unveiled weeks back, but now it is confirming for sure that there’s no hard DLC involved....

Last week, Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata held a “Chotto Nintendo Direct” to announce DLC level packs forNew Super Mario Bros. 2in Japan. Today, Nintendo of Americapurple PikminReggie Fils-Aime detailed how the new DLC will work on this side of the Pacific. While Japan will receive the new goodies today, we’ll have to wait until October 4. Each of the three packs, which contain three Coin Rush levels apiece, will set you back $2....
