How To Play Wordle
Wordlewent viral back in early 2022. The original version, which was coded by Josh Wardle of powerlanguage, was purchased by theNew York Times Gamesin February. While there are now loads of copycats out there, this is the version that this article is about. Other versions will have different answers and may even have slightly different rules.

First, head to the New York Times GamesWordlesite. Players can also playWordleon the New York Times Crossword app. Next, players will need to choose a starting word this word:
Once a goodstartingWordlewordhas been chosen, type it into the site and press enter. This will cause the letters to change colors. The colors will give players clues to the answer.
Given these clues, players need to keep trying new words and getting new clues until they run out of the six total tries or they guess the word. Puzzles reset daily at midnight local time. There is only one puzzle for day for everyone, so be sure to use the spoiler-free share button to prevent ruining the puzzle for anyone else.
