Disney Lorcanareveals a brand-new card featuring Raya coming to the upcoming expansion set known as Rise of the Floodborn. After being officially announced last year at the 2022 D23 Expo, excitement for Disney’s official trading card game generated plenty of excitement and anticipation from fans thanks in large part to unique character art as well as six different rarity tiers to find.Disney Lorcana: The First Chapterlaunched on August 18and the demand was so high that another reprint was announced for the end of 2023.
Chapter 2 was also announced in September by theDisney Lorcanapublishing company Ravensburger, adding another 200+ cards each with new artwork and focusing on six additionalDisneyfranchises like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Zootopia, The Great Mouse Detective, The Jungle Book, and Raya and the Last Dragon. Winnie the Pooh and Tiana are also appearing for the first time as well.
In advance ofDisney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodbornlaunching on November 17, Game Rant is pleased to reveal a brand-new hero card of Raya from Disney’sRaya and the Last Dragon. The Ruby Ink card is of common rarity and features artwork by Amber Kommavongsa of Raya with a classification of Storyborn, Princess, and Hero. The card features a Strength of 2 and a Willpower of 3.
The card’s actions allow the player to ready the character after it has banished another in a challenge. However, Raya can’t quest for the rest of the turn as a result.
