Love Island USAseason 7has been rife with drama. Some cast members have been accused of controversial political opinions, and the islanders have made many hypocritical decisions. At this point,there are no clear front-runners to win the cash prizeat the end of the season.

The Purpose Was To Cause Drama
Often, theLove Island USAseason 7 challenges require cast members to wear tight, revealing outfits and make out with their fellow islanders. These challenges have definitely caused drama, such as whenHuda Mustafa got angry at the new bombshellsfor not respecting her relationship with Jeremiah Brown, even though the new islanders didn’t know about the relationship. However, the Stand On Business challenge had more impact.
The Stand On Business challenge simply asked the islanders to air out their grievances.
Some people used this opportunity to get clarity on previous decisions, such asHannah Fields’s elimination from the villa, but others went for the jugular.Amaya Espinal was told she moves too fastin relationships, causing her cry. MostLove Island USAchallenges don’t end in this many tears.
The Fights This Challenge Caused Were Intense

Although Huda may have gotten the most postcards from her fellow islanders,the biggest drama came from Amaya. She had felt good about her connection with Zak Srakaew leaving Casa Amor, but things took a turn for the worse when they returned to the villa. As of the Stand On Business challenge, theirLove Island USArelationship seems to be over.
Zak, Ace Greene, and Austin Shepard all used the challenge to tell Amaya how they really felt being coupled up with her. As the criticisms piled on, Amaya found it harder and harder to keep her composure. Eventually,she snapped at Zak, showing a brand-new side to Amaya. Specifically, she told him:
“I don’t care to hear what you have to say anymore. Stop talking to me.”
There was a lot more yelling during this challenge than we’re used to seeing onLove Island USA.Personally, I loved it. The drama felt genuine, and it was great to hear people’s real thoughts.I would love to see this type of challenge used moreon the show.

The Stand On Business challenge onLove Island USAseason 7 definitely stirred the pot, and I don’t know if the islanders will be able to recover from it. While there are stillstrong relationships in the villa, the friendships have definitely taken a hit. Only time will tell if this group of islanders can move forward from such a jaw-dropping challenge.
