What The New Casting Means For Murder In A Small Town
The Town’s Stories Are Expanding
Murder In A Small Townseason 1 largely focuses on Karl and Cassandra (Kristin Kruek), though members of the local police department did play bigger roles in the stories than most of the small town’s residents.
Luckily,Murder In A Small Townseason 2was already announced to have more episodes, but with new cast members joining the series, the stories will expand along with the cast size.
Murder In A Small Townwill get to flesh out its titular small town in season 2thanks to the new characters. The varied cast members, including a new police officer, a medical examiner, and a town local, mean that how the show demonstrates the investigative process is also expanding.
The inclusion of a medical examiner who has never met the main character, for example, means that the investigations will become more in-depth. The inclusion of someone from his past should also help flesh out more backstory. A local connected to a crime creates a new mystery to explore.
Our Take On Murder In A Small Town Season 2’s Cast Additions
Character Actors Make For Great Drama Additions
House, Brown, and Close are all modern-day character actors. Much of their work on television has been in smaller guest roles or as recurring characters. They are each able to transform themselves to fit their roles and should be fantastic additions to the already talented ensemble.
Murder in a Small Townseason 2 will premiere on September 23 on FOX.
The trio of new additions toMurder In A Small Townshould be able to demonstrate their strengths as the roles all sound very different than parts they have played in the past. Their announcement in these roles also likely means these are not characters that will only appear in a handful of episodes before disappearing again.
Murder In A Small Townseason 2 should offer each of these character actors roles they can really sink their teeth into.
