It’s only natural that fans would joke about bringing in new fighters forMultiVersus. But the popularity of Walter White joining theMultiVersusroster is something to behold.
Walter White is the infamous protagonist ofBreaking Bad, a television show about White learning to make and sell methamphetamine to pay for his cancer treatment. Suffice it to say, he’s not exactly the kind of character to be expected in a video game featuringShaggy fromScooby Dooand Bugs Bunny. The internet loves absurdity almost as much as it loves pop culture, though, so Walter White has been consistently pitched as the next fighterMultiVersusshould add.

The comedy meme YouTube channel called kracc bacc is known for mocking other content creators and capitalizing on viral trends. The originalMultiVersusannouncement cinematicis one such example, as it capitalized on online references and the absurdity of its strange roster. The YouTube channel kracc bacc took advantage of this, taking the cinematic and adding a variety of strange characters sloppily overlayed on the trailer. Interestingly, the video has pulled in an astonishing 4 million views, a million more thanMultiVersus' cinematic trailer.
What’s especially funny about the meme video is that it’s somewhat predictive.The Rock’s Black Adamdid eventually get released as DLC forMultiVersus. kracc bacc may have been joking, but Warner Bros. and developer Player First Games both likely understand the value of adding fighters that will be popular on social media.
Walter White has not been announced forMultiVersus, yet. It’s unclear if he’ll ever be added to the game due to the mature content ofBreaking Bad. But there’s little argument that Walter White is one of themost wanted additions toMutliVersus' roster.
