It will be amazing to watch the ensemble cast of characters travel between realms as they compete in the Mortal Kombat tournament, which will be overseen by Shao Kahn. The trailer sets the Outworld emperor up as a formidable threat, which is exactly what the franchise needs after Shang Tsung underwhelmed in the first movie.
