Just several days ago, a remastered version of Bandai Namco and From Software’s notoriously difficult action role-playing gameDark Soulswas officiallyconfirmed for Nintendo Switchduring the Big N’s Nintendo Direct Mini. With the first game in the series now set for launch on the platform, it has left many fans wondering whether or not its subsequent sequels will make the leap on to the Switch as well.
As it so happens, the sequels toDark Soulscould potentially receive their own versions for the Nintendo Switch–that is, if one of Kotaku UK’s unnamed sources is sharing accurate information with the website. According to Kotaku UK’s Laura Kate Dale, Bandai Namco plans to eventually bring all three of the RPG games from From Software to Switch, but there hasn’t been a clear date set by the publisher yet.

Prior to the revelation ofDark Souls Remasteredcoming to the Nintendo Switch, many had been speculating that the oft-rumored, but now confirmedtrilogy box-set for PS4would go on to be re-purposed and used as a means to bring all three of the games to the Switch at some point. While this has yet to be announced, Kotaku UK’s source intimates that the Switch might receive a trilogy bundle all its own in the future even though it hasn’t been publicly mentioned by Bandai Namco.
All things considered, if aDark Soulstrilogy package eventually becomes available for the Nintendo Switch–which is definitely plausible–it may not launch in the United States at first. After all, the aforementioned PS4 trilogy bundle for the serieshas not been planned for release in the West. With this being the case, fans will just have to wait and see what the official word from Bandai Namco, From Software, and Nintendo will be regarding the whole franchise coming to Switch.
Dark SoulsRemasteredis set to launch on July 07, 2025 for is coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
