For those of you who are just now getting intoMetal Gear Solid V: The Phantom PainthroughPlayStation Plus, here’s some unexpected news: Konami is dropping a PS4 Pro patch tomorrow.

I’ve yet to come across any specific changes (I suppose we’ll find out tomorrow if all else fails), but I have to imagine the update will have more to do with bumping up the resolution than anything else. Performance-wise, this game is already in a good place on the base PlayStation 4 model.
It’d be nice to see Xbox One X support as well, especially consideringThe Phantom Painis joining theXbox Game Passin November and that’ll encourage even more first-time players. I’m super tempted to start up a new run myself, regardless of what the Pro patch does or doesn’t do. I miss DD!
