A newcomer toMayor of Kingstownseason 4has promised their gangster character will have a massive impact on Bunny and Mike going forward.Mayor of Kingstownseason 3 endedwith multiple major character deaths, such as Kareem and Iris. It also ended with Milo’s death, taking out a constant villain who’d been in the series since the beginning.
In an interview withScreenRant’s Grant Hermanns about his TV seriesMr. Loverman,Mayor of Kingstownnewcomer Lennie James explained his gangster’s impact on Mike and Bunny. He explained how his character, Frank Moses, will be both friendly and contentious with Mike as he establishes himself, potentially bringing new tensions with him. Check out what James had to say below:

He’s, again, as I was just saying about characters that really interest me, Frank Moses is most certainly one of those characters. He’s a Detroit gangster who’s come to Kingstown to fill the gap that’s left by the departing Russians, basically, and he’s going to be working with and against Mike to make his way into Kingstown. And to find out how successful he is or isn’t in his relationships with both Bunny and Mike, you’ll have to watch and see. really. I think that’s about as much as I can say about where Frank operates, and who he operates between. In the part of the story that involves him, it’s a kind of triangle between Bunny, Frank and Mike. But being on the set and with the guys on Kingstown was a huge amount of fun. It’s a good place to go to work, I had a good time.
How Lennie James' Frank Will Shake Things Up In Mayor Of Kingstown Season 4
Will He Become A New Threat For Mike To Contend With?
While it’s unclear howMayor of Kingstownseason 4will play out, Milo’s death leaves a gap in the town criminal enterprise. Frank’s arrival may see him try to amend that, ashe’s described as having connections in Deroit that make him extremely powerful. This could be bad news for Mike, though, depending on how he rolls into town.
Based on James' statement, though, this could be bad news for Bunny, whose operations could be threatened if Frank is a direct competitor. Since they’ll be interacting, this could be the case. However, it’s also possible the newcomer sees him as an opportunity, using him to expand his own newfound power.
The third season ofMayor of Kingstownhas earned a 78% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Othercharacters inMayor of Kingstownwill inevitably be impacted too, such as Ian, who still butts heads with Mike for the way he operates from time to time. Frank’s arrival could make tensions with the police much heavier for Renner’s character. This is especially dependent on how far he goes to expand his reach across the town.
