Marvel Rivals executive producerDanny Koo took to Xon August 14, 2025, to build hype for the upcomingMarvel Swimsuit Special: Friends, Foes & Rivals#1 by Tim Seeley, Marguerite Sauvage, and others.The comic will spotlight new costumes that are coming soon toMarvel Rivalsthis summer.
While Koo shared asneak peek at designs for Luna Snow, Loki, Psylocke, Punisher, and Thor,fans will be able to see the official versions in the comic on Jul 06, 2025, when the special is released. Until then, there is a lot to unpack with these ambitious and utterly wild designs.

As expected with swimsuit-themed skins, there is a lot of skin on display for these featured heroes. Still, in an impressive show of artistic talent,these designs manage to capture the personalities and signature styles of each spotlighted character.This attention to their core character designs is what will make these swimsuit skins especially fun to use when they arrive inMarvel Rivals.
Among the standout looks are those of thePunisher and Loki, both wearing Speedos and swimsuit cover-ups that do very little to actually cover anything.Punisher’s look is particularly striking, with his skull insignia placed front and center on his Speedo. His character design also features what appear to be heavy-duty water blasters in place of his usual guns.
Loki’s look may be the most extravagant of all, which suits the Norse god’s dramatic and flamboyant personality. His luxurious swimsuit adheres to his trademark green and gold color scheme, and he wears posh poolside slides featuring horn details similar to those on his horned sun hat. Along with a robe, Speedo, and his signature staff, this look easily ranks among the best.

Last but not least, Koo teased Thor, who has a more conservative but still memorable look. Instead of a Speedo, Thor wears tight board shorts. His outfit is hilarious and endearing, channeling a typical beach bro vibe with flip flops, round sunglasses, a headband, and even a tote bag filled with plushies.
