Marvel released first detailsfor the Ultimate Universe’s blockbuster event with two teaser posters that directly homage marketing materials forAvengers: Endgame. Art by Stonehouse seesthe heroes of Earth-6160, like Maystorm, T’Challa, and more pose like the Avengers on the 2019 movie’s poster. The universe’s villainous Reed Richards takes on the Thanos role as their big bad, The Maker.
While the art is a cool reference for fans of both comics and films, a fun reversal of comic art being replicated, many fans don’t want to see the end of the Ultimate Universe. AsEarth-6160 supposedly approaches the Endgame, a definitive conclusion for the universe’s characters and stories would be a real loss for Marvel Comics and its readers.
