The Summers and Pym Families Are Finally Connected

Warlock Has Infected Vision and Cable

This October, theAge of Revelationtakes over Marvel’sX-Mencomic line, withDoug Ramsey’s (formerly Cypher) villainous mutantsetting himself up as a dictator. Some heroes have been corrupted by his powers, some have been transformed by the rampant ‘X-Virus,’ and others have been changed forever by resisting Revelation’s regime. Fans will see some extreme transformations in the upcomingX-Vengers, from Jason Loo and Sergio Fernández Dávila.

Theseries will follow various Avengers heroeswho have been mutated by the X-Virus, with Shang-Chi, Black Widow and more gaining superpowers. However, what’s interesting in regards to Cable is that Greg Land’s variant cover reveals thatthe Vision has also been infected by the Transmode Virus. With both Cable and Vision being slowly transformed, the Summers and Pym families are being merged in the darkest way possible.

Timeslide Revelation Cypher Warlock

Vision and Cable are tied into two of Marvel’s biggest hero families, with their relatives including Ant-Man, the Phoenix, Wonder Man, Havok, Scarlet Witch, Vulcan, Speed, Wiccan and Adam-X.

Cyclops and Vision’s Families Unite Against Revelation

But It’s the Villain’s Greatest Ally Who Really Connects Them

It’s likely the Transmode Virus came from Revelation’s former best friend and right-hand ally Warlock- a member of the alien Technarchy who has bonded for life with the hero-turned-villain. While Revelation is the big bad ofAge of Revelation, he has many dangerous allies, and it seems that Cable and Vision have both run afoul of Warlock. Cyclops' son has a long history of fighting off cybernetic viruses with his telekinesis, but as Marvel teases a major death inUnDead-pool, it seems he may not be up to fending off the Transmode Virus for much longer.

Age of Revelationis transforming heroes and creating ten years of history in this dark future, connecting Cable and Vision via an alien disease. AsCyclops' familyand Vision’s X-Vengers fight for their freedom against theX-Men’s newest enemy, it seems that the Summers and Pym families have a dark new bond - one that might end up wiping them off the face of the planet.
