Listing briefly appears on official store
Eagle-eyed ResetEra users browsing the Ubisoft store yesterdaybriefly spotted a listingfor something called the “Ubisoft Pass Premium.” Not only that, but it appeared in a since-removed “Subscription” category. The pass placeholder, along with the category itself, was swiftly removed, but not before usersbagged a screencap of it.
Although there is no further information to go on, the snug theory is that the French developer is preparing to dip its toe into the increasingly-popular game-streaming service, following in the footsteps of publishers such as Electronic Arts. Game-streaming continues to be one of the many delivery options bandied about as the future of the market, so no doubt the publishers of heavy-hitters such asAssassin’s Creed, Far CryandRainbow Six Siegewould want in on the action.

Ubisoft have understandably remained tight-lipped on the reveal, but with a press conference scheduled for the upcoming E3 2019 expo, I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about this in the near future.
