It’s pretty typical for Game Pass to go throughat least one or two monthly cleanouts. Several games alsoleft the service on July 1, includingJourney to the Savage Planet(whosesequel just came outon the service a couple of months ago). Also leaving that day wereMy Friend Peppa PigandSteamWorldDig.

Of course, just because a game is removed from Game Pass doesn’t mean it’s gone forever.Savage Planetwas previously removed way back in 2021, but eventually returned to the service.There’s a chance for any of this month’s removed games to be restoredin the future, too.

There’s a good mix of games here: indies likeMagical Delicacy, big names likeMafia, family-friendly games likeFlockandTchia, and intense horror games likeThe Callisto Protocol. Personally, I’ll probably missThe Case of the Golden Idolthe most - this particular brand of unusual, adventure game throwback, murder-mystery-puzzle game really scratches an itch for me, and I’ve already played most of the other games here (or own them on other platforms). I’ll certainly consider picking it up before it’s removed fromGame Pass.
