With NetherRealm Studios having recently added theTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesas what is purportedly the final piece of DLC to come toInjustice 2, many fans have been wondering whether or not the developer would eventually release a Game of the Year-styled compendium for the title to include all of its content. Now, it looks as if that could be the case, as a recent online listing points to the fighting game receiving a Legendary Edition next month.
The post forInjustice 2’s Legendary Edition was initially seen on Amazon, with the listing showing a potential release date for the complete collection of the base game and its post-launch content as being Aug 08, 2025. However, the product page has since been removed, leaving only a cached version of the original web page. A screenshot of the product listing shown below uses pictures fromThe Sims 4for both the game and cover images, but everything else about the page references theInjustice 2Legendary Edition.

As written in the above product listing for the potentialInjustice 2Legendary Edition, it “includes 10 additional characters includingDarkseid, Hellboy, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles plus 5 Premiere Skins.” Should the aforementioned Amazon listing be accurate and this packaging of the fighting game go on to get an official release, then it looks as if it will set players back $60 in total for all of its offerings.
Taking all of this into consideration, while it’s best to take this information with a grain of salt due to the fact that NetherRealm Studios hasn’t officially announced anInjustice 2Legendary Edition just yet, the likelihood of such a release seems inevitable. After all, following the availability of the developer’s previous fighting game,Mortal Kombat X, the studio then went on to put outMortal Kombat XL, which included the base game along with all post-launch DLC.
Injustice 2is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
