Infernaxis now available for all Xbox Game Pass users on both PC and Xbox consoles as a free download, bolstering the service’s already considerable repertoire of indie offerings. This violent side-scrolling Metroidvania game seems to be inspired by games such asCastlevania 2, albeit with a number of key upgrades and improvements, as one would expect.
Specifically,Infernaxturns an otherwise straightforward concept into something novel and interesting, as it lets players make their own choices, only to deliver tongue-in-cheek consequences later on. Its immediateGame Passavailability is no accident, either, as the game was known to be coming to Microsoft’s gaming subscription service for quite some time now.
