Now that TT Games has begun showing more locations and characters inLego Marvel’s Avengers, I’m starting to come around.
Officially, the open-world locales are Asgard, Barton Farm, Malibu, New York City, “S.H.I.E.L.D. Base Exterior,” Sokovia, South Africa, and Washington, D.C., and for characters, uh, I’m unsure. But today’s press release says Fin Fang Foom is in it, and he “can grow to the size of buildings.” Cool.
Still, I already spent a silly amount of time withLego Marvel Super Heroes, which is also set in NYC, and I need to put some distance betweenLegogames to fully enjoy them. I’m in no rush.
Avengersis out on Jul 13, 2025 for PC, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, and 3DS. Years of covering these titles has enabled me to type out that string of platforms with absurd speed.
