The ziplines across buildings make the city feel truly unique and show how the apocalypse can impact different settings, whilethe resurgence of power helps demonstrate why Manhattan is different from anywhere else inThe Walking Deaduniverse.Bruegel’s introduction inDead Cityseason 2 also injected plenty of personality into the project, suggesting it still has plenty to offer.

With the spinoff containing so many unique qualities, it would be a shame for it not to tell its whole story, hence why season 3’s confirmation is so encouraging. I already can’t wait to see these various compelling survivors back on screen, and with plenty of conflict remaining, the next installment could be the most thrilling yet.

Having been forced to team up in season 10, they’ve remained reluctant allies ever since, trying to find common ground despite tensions constantly getting in the way.

For the duo to thrive, they need to be apart where they can grow as characters and do something more interesting after being connected for so long.

Therefore, the franchise needs to put an end to their story in season 3; otherwise, their conflict will feel like an endless cycle that fans will eventually give up on.

Now thatDead Cityseason 3 is official, we have plenty of interesting stories to look forward to, with Maggie and Negan’s relationship being at the forefront. The spinoff will presumably once again focus on the two trying to work together while their past drives a wedge between them.
However, this time, there will likely be more forgiveness, especially with the duo’s attention being predominantly on Hershel. Although he made the choice to side with the Dama and isn’t in immediate danger,Maggie will want to avoid her son going down a dark path, something Negan knows all about.
