Tom Cruisemay hold on to helicopters while doing stunts, but he doesn’t hold onto grudges, because he recently attended the show of one band whose members insulted him.Cruise has been making moviessince the early ’80s, and he’s carved out one of the most successful acting careers in Hollywood history.
However, with that, he’s developed a lot of detractors, because oftentimes one can’t have legions of admirers without having just as many critics.
While several people have spoken out against Cruise over the years, one comment stands out more than most. It came from the band Oasis, who are currently on their reunion tour. Cruiseattended the Oasis concerton July 25 at London’s Wembley Stadium, which is surprising considering what the band has said about him in the past.

In the 2007 documentaryLord Don’t Slow Me Down, Oasis members Noel and Liam Gallagher weren’t shy when discussing Cruise. “He’s a little fer, and he’s not been in one good film in his entire career,” said Noel about Cruise. Liam spoke even harsher words, saying, “I hate Tom Cruise. B*rd. Him and [footballer] Michael Owen.”
Cruise spoke to the Gallagher brothers about their comments when they all stayed in a hotel in Berlin, Germany in 2009. The actor was on a promotional run for his filmValkyriethen, and the Gallaghers were in town for a show, so it was the perfect time to hash things out. Reportedly, Cruise initially walked past the rockers, but then he did a U-turn to confront them.
There wasn’t any yelling involved, however, because Cruise approached them in a cheerful manner, which was probably the best way to handle things, sincethe Gallaghers aren’t known to run from a heated confrontation— especially Liam, who could be called the more hot-tempered of the siblings.
Cruise then reminded Liam that he had kind things to say about his 1988 movieCocktailinthe documentary, and the meeting ended with all three men walking away with no hard feelings. So, it may not be a surprise that Cruise attended that Wembley show.

Other Celebrities Were Spotted At The Oasis Show, Too
The four-time Oscar nominee was spotted at the concert withEdenactress Ana de Armas, said to be his girlfriend. He was also seen in a photo with English DJ and music producer, Goldie, but those were far from the only celebrities in attendance.
Dua Lipa and her fiancé, actor Callum Turner, were seen enjoying the concert, and so were British TV host Davina McCall and singer Lewis Capaldi, as well as Kyle Falconer, frontman of The View.
At this time,there aren’t any reports about Cruise meeting with Oasis membersbackstage before or after the show, but if he did, there’s a good chance that they had a lighthearted conversation, just like they did in that Berlin hotel.
TheMission: Impossiblestar appeared to have a great time at the concert, and he didn’t show any signs of still being upset with the band, so it seems it’s all in the past at this point.
