Elden Ring Nightreignprovides plenty of different options when it comes to characters (in the form of classes), and you may switch between them early in the game.
The first task is to clear the tutorial that teaches you the basics. Once you’re done with it, you can then choose between six different characters. There are eight in total, so choices are plenty. Let’s take a look at how you can switch between your available characters.

How to change characters in Elden Ring Nightreign
You can choose to change characters in both solo play and multiplayer, but the underlying process is slightly different. Assuming you have access to more than one character, let’s take a look at the method applicable for solo play.
You can change your characters from the main room of Roundtable Hold. Look opposite from The Priestess to find a suit of armor with a golden bell and a shield. Interact with the golden bell, and you’ll open up the character menu. From there, you’ll be able to choose the character you want to play.
Once you confirm your choice, your character will change to the new one. Continue to play the Solo Expedition with the new character. You can also edit the appearance of each character byaltering their skins.
When you’re playing with other players, just interact with the Roundtable to start an Expedition. You’ll come across the character selection screen once all players have connected. You’ll be able to choose your character then, but make sure not to let the timer expire, as you’ll be automatically assigned one (that might not have been your favorite choice).
Once you finish a multiplayer expedition, your previously selected character will return to the Roundtable Hold. If you want to alter and play a solo expedition, go through the steps mentioned above. Out of all the eight classes inNightreign, Duchess and Revenant will be locked at the start. You’ll have to acquire certain items to access these two classes. The remaining classes will be unlocked as soon as you complete the tutorial.
